About Dyna3000

What this site is

Dyna3000 (dyna3000.com) is an independent, informational website with buying guides for home backup and portable power: portable power stations, solar generators and panels, hand-crank emergency radios, power banks, generator cords and accessories, and blackout kit essentials.

What this site is not

Dyna3000 doesn't sell products, install equipment or offer electrical services. We have no storefront or service area. For anything involving your home's wiring, such as transfer switches or generator inlets, hire a licensed electrician.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any manufacturer. Brand and product names on this site are used only to identify products and belong to their owners.

How we choose picks

Each category page explains the criteria that matter and highlights three picks: a Best Overall, a Best Value and a Design Pick. We choose them from real, currently listed products based on manufacturer-published specifications, how well they match the criteria we describe, and how useful they are for typical households. We don't do hands-on lab testing, and we don't accept payment for placement. We don't publish prices or ratings because they change constantly; check the retailer listing for current details.

How we handle safety and rules

When a guide covers safety or regulations, such as generator carbon monoxide safety or airline power bank rules, we summarize official sources like the CDC, Ready.gov, the FAA and TSA, and link to them. Rules change, so always confirm with the official source and your airline or local authority. Nothing on this site is legal, electrical or medical advice.
